1. Membership
Membership of the Precious Hidden Valley Wine Club is available to individuals aged 18 years and older.
Membership is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of payment and is subject to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is R2,000 per person.
The membership fee is payable in full upon joining and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Membership Benefits
Members are entitled to the following benefits during their active membership period:
15% Discount on Cellar Door Purchases
Members receive a 15% discount on all wines purchased directly from the Precious Hidden Valley cellar door.
This discount:
Applies only to wines purchased directly from the estate.
May not be combined with any other promotional offer unless otherwise stated.
Is not redeemable for cash.
Complimentary Birthday Winemaker’s Lunch
Members are entitled to one complimentary Winemaker’s Lunch during their birthday month for themselves and one guest.
The following conditions apply:
Reservations are essential and subject to availability.
The benefit is valid only during the member’s birthday month.
Proof of birth date may be requested.
The benefit may be redeemed once per membership year.
Additional guests, beverages, and optional extras will be charged at the prevailing rates.
The benefit is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash, credit, or any alternative offering.
Complimentary Private Pre-Menu Tasting Invitation
Members will receive exclusive invitations to private pre-menu tasting events hosted by the Precious Hidden Valley Fine Dining Restaurant.
Attendance is:
Subject to invitation and availability.
Limited to the member unless otherwise specified.
Non-transferable unless approved by management.
Bush Lodge Accommodation Discount
Members receive a 20% discount on accommodation at the Precious Hidden Valley Bush Lodge.
This discount:
Is subject to availability.
Applies only to direct bookings made with Precious Hidden Valley.
Cannot be used in conjunction with any other accommodation promotion or special offer.
Excludes bookings made through third-party booking platforms.
Priority Event Bookings
Members enjoy priority booking access for selected estate events, including but not limited to:
Valentine’s Day celebrations
Seasonal events
Harvest celebrations
Exclusive estate functions
Priority booking does not guarantee availability, and all bookings remain subject to event capacity.
Wine Pairing Dinners and Signature Experiences
Members receive priority access to limited-seat wine pairing dinners and other exclusive culinary experiences hosted by Precious Hidden Valley.
Bookings remain subject to availability and any event-specific terms and conditions.
4. Use of Benefits
Membership benefits are reserved exclusively for the registered member.
Benefits may not be:
Sold or transferred to another person;
Exchanged for cash;
Accumulated for future use;
Redeemed after the membership has expired.
Unused benefits will expire at the end of the membership period.
5. Bookings and Reservations
All experiences, events, lunches, tastings, and accommodation bookings are subject to availability.
Precious Hidden Valley reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel events due to weather conditions, operational requirements, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond its control.
6. Membership Renewal
Membership is valid for one year and may be renewed annually upon payment of the applicable membership fee.
Precious Hidden Valley reserves the right to amend membership fees and benefits for future membership periods.
7. Cancellation and Termination
Members may cancel their membership at any time; however, membership fees remain non-refundable.
Precious Hidden Valley reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund where a member:
Breaches these Terms & Conditions;
Engages in abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour towards staff or guests;
Uses membership benefits fraudulently or contrary to their intended purpose.
8. Privacy
Member information will be used solely for Wine Club administration, communications, event invitations, promotional offers, and related estate activities.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African privacy legislation.
9. Amendments
Precious Hidden Valley reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions and any membership benefits at its discretion. Precious Hidden Valley has the right to cancel any membership without refund of membership fee.
Members will be notified of any material changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
